Dan became a Teamster in 1978 while working in Phoenix AZ out of Local 104 and is a third generation Teamster. He later moved to Missoula MT where he worked for Missoula Ready Mix Concrete, and served as Steward there for about six years.
In 1998 Dan became a Business Representative for Local 2. Dan has served on many committees including the Montana Joint Heavy/Highway Committee, the Montana Public Employees' Crafts Council and serves as a Trustee on the board of trustees for the Montana Teamsters-Contractors/Employers Trust.
Dan became the Secretary-Treasurer of Local 2 in 2010 and is looking forward to continuing to help Montanans gain and keep good jobs with good benefits.
Bill began working as a Teamster in 1973 while driving a truck for EJ Bartell's Co. He then worked in the warehouse for Bechtel Corporation in 1974. In late 1974, Bill began to work for Montana State Hospital where he remained for 34 years, serving as Shop Steward for 16.
Bill became a Business Representative in 2007 and currently works with the bargaining units in Butte and the surrounding areas.
Bill is also Recording Secretary for the Local's Executive Board. This is his second term.
Max Hallfrisch has been a Teamster since June, 1980, when he started working at Buttrey’s warehouse in Great Falls, MT, and was a Steward there during the majority of his employment. He served on the Executive Board of Teamsters Local 2 for two separate terms. In 2001, Max came to work as a Business Representative for Teamsters Local 2. He currently serves as the Political Coordinator for the Local, working with our Secretary-Treasurer, Dan Doogan, as well as the Executive Board. Max also serves in the capacity of Trustee for the Utah-Idaho Teamsters Security Fund. The Local 2 membership represented by Max covers an extremely broad spectrum of occupations from barbers to law enforcement workers over a vast majority of Montana (Great Falls to Poplar).
Jim Stone has been a Teamster since 1985 when he went to work for Meadow Gold Dairies in Great Falls, Montana, and became a Steward in 1993. Jim started his employment with Teamsters Local 2 as a Business Representative in February, 2007, representing members in classifications from cooks to warehouse employees. He covers the area from Cut Bank to Bozeman. Jim serves as a Trustee for the Montana Teamsters-Contractors/Employers Trust.
Shawn comes to us after working for UPS in pre-load for two years, where he served as Steward since June 2009. Shawn will be working out of the Missoula office where he will be working with the UPS contract as well as other contracts in the area.
In addition to his time with UPS Shawn brings other skills and knowledge to our Local. He was a carpenter for 15 years and is a certified home inspector. Although he grew up in Boise Idaho, he has called Montana home since 2004. Shawn comes from a strong Union family. Some family members have worked in Union jobs for 20-45 years.
Sue became a Teamster in 1985. She has worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Teamsters for more than 20 years. In addition she was a Teamster driver on a movie production in 1993 when she drove for actors Leonard Nimoy and Joey Gordon Levitt. Sue also ran the office for the Great Falls Area Labor-Management Committee from 1993-1996. Sue currently serves as the LEARN Coordinator for the Local and brings her vast knowledge, skills and experience to the Teamsters.
April became a Teamster in 1996 as a Bookkeeper and Titan Operator for Local 2. She was promoted to Office Manager in 2003. April worked in the Hotel & Restaurant Industry and has been able to translate that experience into her current position.
April graduated from Montana Tech in Butte in 1989 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Accounting.
Judith has been a member since 2006 and currently manages the construction dispatch list, is webmaster.
Judith has 15 years of administrative experience as well as several years working with people. Judith also graduated from the University of Montana - Missoula with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a minor in Communications.

Bill has been a Teamster for 32 years and works for UPS in Helena. He has previously been on the Executive Board before being elected to this term. Bill has also served as Steward for UPS.

Randy has been with the Teamsters for almost 30 years. He works for the Montana Department of Transportations in the Belt area and is the Steward for the shop there as well as a member of the negotiating team for the State Highway Workers.
